Baby Daisja Weaver missing – Parents Implicated and arrested

Daisja Weaver
I can’t believe this situation is happening again! Last week, a young couple in the process of moving to another apartment, made a call to the local police to file a missing persons report. The missing person in question was a 9 month old baby girl named Daisja Weaver. Since the report of the missing child, local news and some network news stations had started to cover this event and help locate the baby. Amber alerts were issued for Texas, federal assistance came into help, and the parents made pleads on TV to bring the baby home. The news conferences they held were tearful and heartbreaking. Every person who see’s these on the news just hope for the best and in some way to try to feel the pain the parents must be going through. The Dallas police department were offering a $10,000 reward to the rescue and safe return of their 9 month old daughter or any information that brings the arrest of the kidnapper.
But earlier today, all this turned into a familiar story… Local police have arrested both the Mother and Father, Tamaira Creagh(20) and Alandus Weaver(19) and charged them with tampering with evidence. Only these charges are being brought in now, but more will be filed if the little girl is found. The thing that hurts the most to write, is that these two apparently took the child to the bridge over a lake, tied her to a sandbag, and threw her in.
What kind of people do this? And why is it such a common occurrence now a days. These stories seem to pop up once every two years. Some mother comes on national TV begging for whoever has their child to bring them back safely. They cry and plead on TV, getting the public on their side and frantically looking out for the child. But as time goes on and more and more information comes to pass, we often see that the parents are the ones who not only took the baby, but in cases like this, killed the child. How can anyone who’s done something so terrible, turn around and beg and plead for their safe return when all while they know that it won’t happen. What goes through a person mind? What I think is that they are trying to show their human side to the public and/or are pleading to whomever God they pray to, to forgive them for what they’ve done.
I feel like the USA is a nation of copycat offenders. When certain people see others commit a crime of unbelievable circumstances, it’s like it starts a domino effect of others who want to or end up doing the same thing. Look at all those mass suicides 10+ years ago that were spread out all over the country, the school shootings that have haunted us ever since Columbine, and all these baby killings that parents pass off as a kidnapping, when in the end it’s revealed the parents are the ones who killed their own blood, their child. I remember the first time I saw a new story of this nature. A woman had reported her two or three children missing and car stolen. The Country stood by her and hoping to find the assailant, return the children to the safety of their mother. And then I remember that fateful news cast, the one where it shows police officers pulling a vehicle out of the lake and finding the children still inside, with their seat belts still on.
The mother killed her only children! And she started a snowball effect that is still happening to this very day! It sadens and sickens me that people feel the need to follow in someone else foot steps. What is wrong with people!?
In ending: I want to point out that baby Daisja has not yet been found and there is still hope that the mother is lying about this fact, and the baby is alive somewhere. I have my fingers crossed and am hoping she is found, alive and safe. If you’re a praying person, pray this little baby is found!
